Rooted in my childhood home in Chiayi, the “City of Wood,” this work explores the emotional connections between everyday life, people, and urban spaces. Through the scorched traces and gestures created in woodburning art, ordinary experiences are transformed into cultural visual expressions, tracing the contours of memory embedded within the city I inhabit.
